Man Accused Of Robbing Foxborough Gas Station: Police

Foxborough police said Rowlawn Dasher, 29, robbed the Shell gas station​ on Route 140.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A New Bedford man was arrested Monday night after police said he robbed a Shell gas station on Route 140 in Foxborough.

Around 7:50 p.m., officers were called to the Commercial Street business. The first arriving officer saw the suspect, later identified as Rowlawn Dasher, 29, run behind a building, police said. Foxborough police called Massachusetts State Police and Mansfield police to help set up a search perimeter.

Police used a K-9 unit for the search, while other officers fathered information from witnesses. A short while later a concerned citizen told police he saw a man come out of the woods on Elm Street. Police searched the woods and found and arrested Dasher.

Dasher was charged with unarmed robbery and was arraigned in Wrentham District Court Tuesday.
