Man Commits Sexual Assault, Breaks Puppy's Leg: Foxborough Police
Police said a man from out of state sexually assaulted someone at a hotel, threatened the victim with a gun and physically abused a puppy.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — Foxborough police arrested a man from out of state they said sexually assaulted someone at a hotel, threatened the victim with a gun and physically abused a puppy.
On Saturday, police said the victim reported the sexual assault and told officers they were threatened at gunpoint.
The victim told police the man also had a female puppy with him at the hotel, and he was physically abusive towards it. Police did not release the man's identity to protect the victim's privacy.

Police said they placed the man under surveillance before arresting him in a parking lot at a Foxborough hotel. Officers later searched the man's hotel room and found a puppy that was just a few weeks old. The puppy was cowering in fear in the corner of the room with a broken leg, according to police. Police said they also found a loaded gun.
Police brought the dog to the Foxboro Animal Hospital and is expected to recover.

The suspect is expected to be arraigned in Wrentham District Court Monday.
