New Restaurant, Music Venue At Patriot Place
Six String Grill & Stage has a portrait of Dolly Parton made of 15,000 guitar picks inside the new Patriot Place restaurant and venue.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — A new restaurant and live music venue replaced what was once Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill at Patriot Place, offering patrons a new place to rock out to some country and rock music while enjoying a meal. Six String Grill and Stage opened at 275 Patriot Place, The Briar Group group announced Wednesday.
The menu at Six String includes American classics, Southern-style fare and other dishes. The bar seats 80 people.
"Guests in the over 400-seat dining room and throughout the venue will be able to fuel up on comfort eats like hearty soups and fresh salads like the fried green tomato caprese salad, juicy burgers and sandwiches like the 'Roadie Burger' with onion strings, barbecue sauce and cheddar cheese, flavorful flatbreads like the 'Pork Belly Hawaiian' and more," a Patriot Place spokesperson said in a statement.

As far as live music, Six String hoped to create a rock and country music vibe with design elements paying homage to music history. Some of these touches include a portrait of Dolly Parton made of 15,000 guitar picks and a chandelier made out of drum sets.
"We are excited to bring the talent and experience we've been building in and around Boston to new levels with the addition of Six String," Kim Ring, representative for The Briar Group, said in a statement. The organization will run the venue.

Toby Keith's closed in January and blamed Patriot Place, calling its operators "greedy." A Patriot Place spokesperson disputed that claim and said the two sides mutually agreed to end bar's lease.
