No Foolin' - From Warm Weather to Snow on Sunday

Possible thunderstorms Friday, rain Friday night then rain will change to snow early Sunday morning. How much will we get?

FOXBOROUGH, MA - Yes, you read that right. After some beautiful, warm, sunny weather, Foxborough is expected to see some snow this weekend and on Monday.

After temperatures in the mid-60s Thursday and Friday, cool weather is moving in, along with the white stuff. Late Saturday, Foxborough is predicted to get up to an inch of snow.

Here's a look at Foxborough's weekend forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Friday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 3 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Areas of fog between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 66.
  • Friday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 2 a.m., then a slight chance of showers after 5 a.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Areas of fog between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.
  • Saturday: Showers likely, mainly between noon and 2 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 55.
  • Saturday Night: A chance of rain showers before 3am, then rain and snow showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Sunday: Snow showers likely, mainly before 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40.

More snow is in the forecast to start the week with early snow showers on Monday turning to steadier snow in the afternoon bringing another one to three inches. And even some more snow showers Monday night.
