Obituary: Joe Heinricher, 58

Visiting hours for the beloved FHS assistant principal will be Tuesday with a funeral service to follow Wednesday.

Joseph A. Heinricher, age 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, March 17, 2016. He was the son of the late Cyril and Eleanor (Cronin) Heinricher.

Joe was born on April 14, 1957 in Norwood. He was a graduate of Foxborough high School, Class of 1975 and received his Bachelor's degree at Central Connecticut College and his Master's degree from Norwich University. Joe worked in the Foxborough Public School System for over thirty three years. He was the Assistant Principal as well as a beloved football coach and mentor. He married his wife Sharon (White) on August 20, 1983 at St. Mary's Church in Foxborough.

Joe loved to play golf, ski and enjoyed traveling with friends and family. He was a volunteer at Ability Plus. He had a huge presence during the Christmas season. Joe's favorite time was spent with his family.

Loving and devoted husband of Sharon (White) Heinricher. Beloved son in law of Barbara and the latte Dick White. Beloved brother in law of Donna and the late Ricky Sweed and Sandy and Joe Girado. Brother of Edward and Phyllis Heinricher of Chepachet, RI, Mark Heinricher of Hanson, Richard and his wife Darlene Heinricher of Bellingham, Michael Heinricher of Foxborough and John and his wife Robin Heinricher of Foxborough. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, March 22 from 3 to 8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at the Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rockhill Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxborough.
