Obituary: Remembering Elizabeth L. (Ferguson) Moreshead

The lifelong Foxborough resident and long time bus driver passed away on Dec. 7.

Elizabeth L. (Ferguson) Moreshead, age 77, died at her home on Sunday, December 7, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Stella (Acher) Ferguson.

Betty was born on October 16, 1937 in Foxborough and attended Foxborough Public Schools. She and her late husband Robert were married at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on October 23, 1954. She was a life-long Foxborough resident.

Betty was a veteran bus driver for Foxborough Public Schools, with over thirty five years of service. She was an active member of the South Foxborough Community Club and a former member of the Foxborough Grid Iron Club. She was a former member of the bowling league at North Bowl, enjoyed crocheting, loved camping with family and friends and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Moreshead. Loving mother of Robert Moreshead of Foxborough, David Moreshead of Boca Raton, FL, Donna Kuplast of Foxborough and Daniel Moreshead of Mansfield. Also survived by seven loving grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Sister of Harold Ferguson of Plainville and Kenneth Ferguson of Maine.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, December 14 from 3 to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM at the Church of Emmanuel, 106 Central Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxborough.
