Patriot Place Holding 11th Annual Irish Festival

The 11th annual Irish festival features free live music, Irish step dancing, and more activities celebrating Irish culture.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Patriot Place is gearing up to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with the 11th annual Irish Festival this Saturday. The daylong festival is free and open to the public. It begins at 11 a.m., March 14 and features live performances by Irish musicians and step dancers, along with free Irish-themed games and activities for children of all ages to enjoy.

The live performances will take place on three stages. There is a main stage outside of Splitsville Luxury Lanes, Howl at the Moon, and Topgolf Swing Suite, while the stage is outside of Alex and Ani. A third stage for Irish step performances will be inside Six String Grill & Stage.

The main stage features performances by Fenian Sons (11 a.m. to noon), Joshua Tree (1 p.m. to 2 p.m.) and Devri (3 p.m. to 4 p.m.) The second stage has Stanley & Grim (11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and the Celtic Ks (2-4 p.m.). Sullivan-Stewart School of Irish Dance, Dunleavy Boyle Academy of Irish Dance, Sullivan School of Irish Dance, Harney School of Irish Dance, Greene O’Leary School of Irish Dance will perform at the Six String Grill & Stage throughout the day.

Irish merchants like Boston Fire Gear, Erie’s Shop, The Irish Shop, New England Novelty, Mulligan Gear and JAT Creations (Irish and Celtic jewelry) will be set up throughout Patriot Place.

Throughout the festival, families can enjoy activities like face painting, a balloon artist, a caricature artist, a sheep petting area and Gaelic games, just to name a few.

Patriot Place will also host a number of special appearances throughout the day, including visits from Pat Patriot and the Patriots Cheerleaders, the Providence Hurling Club and several authentic Irish merchants, including The Irish Shop. The Irish Festival will occur rain or shine.
