Patriots-Chiefs Game Postponed With Positive Tests On Both Teams

The Sunday game will be rescheduled to Monday or Tuesday, the NFL said.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Patriots' Sunday game in Kansas City will be postponed following positive tests on both teams, the NFL confirmed Saturday.

The game will be rescheduled to Monday or Tuesday.

ESPN reported that Patriots quarterback Cam Newton tested positive for the coronavirus. The team confirmed Saturday that a player tested positive Friday, but did not confirm the player's identity.

According to the NFL statement, there have been positive coronavirus tests on the Kansas City Chiefs as well.
