Storm Brings Power Outage to Foxborough
A storm of rain and wind has left about 500 residents without power according to National Grid.

Heavy wind and rain have knocked out power for portions of Foxborough.
While the Boyden Library has power, a cable outage temporarily killed internet access from the building but the service has been restored.
Town Hall and the Council on Aging also temporarily lost power this morning.

As of 9:13 a.m., the YMCA on Mechanic Street is but Early Learning Center remains open at this time.
According to National Grid, about 500 residents are without power earlier in the day. Power has been restored for those homes.

In addition to the storm, a portion of Mechanic Street was closed due to wires down in the road between Chestnut and Pleasant Streets. The street is now open.
