Survey Asks How To Improve Transportation In Foxborough

The survey distributors are seeking feedback from workers and residents in nine towns in an effort to make commuting better.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Live, work, or own a business in Foxborough? Your feedback is wanted in an effort to improve transportation in the Neponset Valley when businesses reopen in their full capacity.

Neponset Valley Transportation Management and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council are distributing a survey for residents and workers in nine towns—including Foxborough—to find out what would make transportation better than it was before the pandemic.

The anonymous five-minute survey is tailored to the identity of the person taking it—questions differ for residents as opposed to business owners or employees. It asks about frustrations with public transportation, benefits businesses offered to employees to use public transportation, and what routes employees take to get to work.

The survey asks residents where they work and reside, how many cars are in their household, and household income, among other things.

Apart from Foxborough residents and workers, the survey is targeted toward people in Canton, Dedham, Norfolk, Norwood, Sharon, Walpole, Westwood, and Wrentham. It closes on April 16.
