Taylor Swift Bringing 2020 Tour To Gillette Stadium
One of the most anticipated concerts in recent years is coming to Foxborough on July 31 and August 1 of 2020.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — Don't freak out too hard, but Taylor Swift is coming to Foxborough in 2020. Tickets are now on sale to see the talented superstar perform two shows at Gillette Stadium on July 31 and Aug. 1 in 2020. The upcoming tour kicks off in Werchter, Belgium, on June 20, and wraps up in our own Gillette Stadium on Aug. 1.

Swift, who last toured in the fall of 2018, is returning to the road to promote her new album "Lover," which includes such hits as "ME!" and "You Need To Calm Down." Her stop in Foxborough is one of only two U.S. tour destinations, with the rest of the performances taking place internationally.

Swift will be the first woman in history to open at an NFL stadium, according to a press release.
Swift was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but moved to Nashville at an early age to pursue her interest in country music. Her success was immediate, as she became the youngest artist ever to be signed by the Sony and ATV Music Label.

She released her debut album in 2006, self-titled, "Taylor Swift," at only 16 years old, and it became the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the U.S. Soon after, she made the transition into the pop industry where her fame only grew.
Today, Taylor Swift is one of the most iconic superstars in the world. In her illustrious career she's won 10 Grammy Awards, 23 American Music Awards, 12 Country Music Associations Awards, and one Emmy Award.
She was also listed on Rolling Stone's List of the 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time.
Swift is best known for the narrative nature of her songs that give her audience a glimpse into what she's going through at the time. Her songs stylistically range from powerful acoustic compositions to up-tempo pop songs that get you up and dancing, but no matter the style, adoring fans of the superstar always feel like they can relate to the music.
