Thursday's Concert on the Common Moved Indoors Because of Expected Rain

Foxboro Jaycees' annual Concerts on the Common series opens Thursday at the Foxborough High School auditorium with musical guest the Foxborough High School Jazz Ensemble.

With rain in Thursday's forecast, the Foxboro Jaycees announced Thursday's Concerts on the Common series opener featuring the Foxborough High School Jazz Ensemble has been moved indoors to the Foxborough High School Auditorium.

"Please join us at the high school for a terrific show by a celebrated, award-winning ensemble that opens our season each year," the Jaycees said in a statement to Foxborough Patch. Thursday's concert begins at 7 p.m.

For 20 years and counting, the Foxboro Jaycees present a series of free concerts on the Common during the summer. On Thursday nights, beginning Thursday, the Jaycees will host a weekly night of music and fun for the whole family from 7 to 9 p.m. on the Common.

Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy fresh air, great music and a wonderful sense of community. Candy, soda, and other goodies will be available for sale by the Foxboro Jaycees.
