DeVellis, Gray Win Foxborough Selectmen's Race
John Gray, Jr. defeats incumbent Lynda Walsh, 1,796-1,614 in Tuesday's annual town election to join the Board of Selectmen along with re-elected member Jim DeVellis.

The town of Foxborough opted for a new voice on the Board of Selectmen, choosing challenger John Gray Jr. over incumbent Lynda Walsh Tuesday by 182 votes (1,796-1,614).
Current Board of Selectmen chair Jim DeVellis received the highest vote total of the three selectmen candidates with 2,287.

For Walsh, the news was heartbreaking.
"I'm disappointed," said Walsh as she left the Ahern Middle School gymnasium Tuesday with supporters.

Approximately 2,600 residents made it out to the polls Tuesday for Foxborough’s town election.
NOTE: Complete - and official - results, including voter turnout, from Tuesday’s election will be published Wednesday.
