Union Straw In Foxborough Permanently Expands Outdoor Dining

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Union Straw Restaurant will permanently expand its outdoor seating area, following approval from the Board of Selectmen at its meeting Tuesday.

Union Straw had already expanded its outdoor dining amid the coronavirus pandemic, but the change will now be a permanent fixture at the local eatery.

Town Licensing Clerk Katie Lang said the outdoor expansion means Union Straw can seat up to 176 customers. The patio fits 39 patrons, while the rest of the tables are reserved for indoor seating.
