Virginia Duo Arrested, Charged On Weapons, Drug Offenses: Police
Foxborough Police discovered a loaded handgun and baggies of what they believe to be heroin during a traffic stop that led to 2 arrests.

FOXBOROUGH, MA – Two Virginia men were arrested and charged with various weapons and drug charges after being pulled over in a traffic stop Sunday night, Foxborough police said.
Andrew Lucas, 22, of Arlington, Virginia, and Javonnie Joyner, 19, Henrico, Virginia, were arraigned on Monday in Wrentham District Court after being arrested. The pair were pulled over by Foxborough K9 officer Kurt Pollister at 5:30 p.m. on Pine Street for an expired registration, police said.
Lucas did not have an active driver’s license and had warrants from Virginia. An inventory inspection of the vehicle was conducted prior to the car being towed and turned up a loaded handgun in the front console as well as multiple baggies of a substance believed to be heroine, police said in a news release.

Lucas was charged with carrying a weapon without a permit, possession of ammunition, possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute, operation of a motor vehicle without a license or registration. Joyner was charged with possession of a firearm without a permit and possession of ammunition.
