When Is The Kitchen On Mechanic Street Opening?
Lots of work has done into renovating the former American Legion.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — It’s been a few months since the Kitchen on Mechanic Street was supposed to open, leaving many in town wondering what’s happening inside the former Foxborough American Legion.
Representatives from the restaurant told the selectmen Tuesday during a liquor license hearing that they thought the process to open would be faster than it has been. The wait will be worth it, according to those who have seen the building.
“I’ve visited location and it came out beautiful,” Town Manager Bill Keegan said.

Owner Steve Fenerjian said they’ve spent the last four months working on the building and the kitchen arrives in two weeks. At that point, training and preparation for the grand opening will be left.
The menu will include various seafood, steak, pasta, and vegetarian options. About 90 percent of the food will be made from scratch and the desserts will be created in house, the selectmen were told.

Fenerjian said the target opening date is June 19. Once it’s open, the Kitchen’s initial operating hours will be 3 to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday will have a 9 a.m. opening for brunch.
