Wormtown Brewery Opening In Foxborough

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The "Be Hoppy" IPA and other well known craft beers are coming to Patriot Place when Worcester's Wormtown Brewery opens its Foxborough taproom at noon Saturday. The former Battle Road Brewery pop-up space was renovated and includes a new white tile bar, large patio, indoor/outdoor fireplace and three murals.

Wormtown also installed a seven-barrel brewing system, which allows the company to brew more beer than it ever could at its Worcester location. There will be new beers for craft beer enthusiasts to try that are unique to Foxborough.

"We are ecstatic to open the doors and finally let people see all the hard work everyone put into this place." managing partner David Fields said. "I’m really excited about the seven-barrel system getting up and running so that we can finally have a true test kitchen and let our brew staff explore where their creativity takes them."

The opening weekend will feature pints and flights from 14 draft lines as well as a wide selection of packaged beer for customers to purchase and take home.

There will also be food for sale including chips and salsa, cheese boars and Aussie meat pies. Customers can also have food delivered from partner restaurants at Patriot Place.
