Former Marian High School In Framingham Is For Sale
Want to buy an old school? The former high school is located on the water. It's now on the market.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—The building, and the one adjacent to it, that used to be Marian High School up until recently in Framingham just hit the market.
The waterfront property is 3.2 acres at 273 Union Avenue and the marketing is being handled by Cheryl Tully Stoll and Marlene Aron of Metrowest Commercial Real Estate.
The campus and property sits on Learned Pond and the existing buildings contain more than 115,000 square feet of finished space. The four-level high school building boasts granite stairwells, an 850 seat auditorium, a gymnasium and was originally built in 1965 as a school and convent.

The property is located close to City Hall, the main library branch and is nearly adjacent to Metrowest Medical Center as well as the city’s Central Business District Zone. It's also a short walk to the recently revitalized commuter rail station and several new apartment complexes are now under construction in the area.
Proposals with or without the existing buildings are being considered.

“This is a rare opportunity in a very hot downtown real estate market,” said Tully Stoll in a statement. “The high school building is in excellent condition and would be great for residential, medical or office condominiums, medical/hospital use, another school, assisted living or a variety of other projects. The entire parcel could also be redeveloped for the same purposes.”
