Framingham's Milliken Estate Up For Sale After Development Fails
A developer had planned to build 75 units at the Central Street property.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — An historic Framingham home that was set to be turned into a 75-unit condo development is back on the market.
The Milliken Estate at 703 Central St. contains a main home and a large carriage house on more than 5 acres along the Sudbury River. Earlier in 2020, RS8 Capital LLC applied for permits to build the condos. The main home already contains six units, with two more in the carriage house.
The developer withdrew its special permit requests in the spring, and the Planning Board accepted the withdrawal on Aug. 6, according to meeting minutes. The home has been back on the market for $2.1 million for two weeks.
