5 Things You Missed at Town Meeting
Special Town Meeting was held before the annual Town Meeting.

According to the telegram.com, Monday's Town Meeting approved:
* Meals Tax: This will add .75 per $100, which may seem small, but according to Town Administrator Timothy P. McInerney, would raise more than $100,000 in revenue in a year.
* Fiscal 2014 budget: No discussion was heard.

* Negotiation of a tax agreement with Tufts University’s Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine regarding solar installation: The solar setup would would yield just under $915,000 over 20 years.
* Adjustments from the fiscal 2013 budget: Moved money from the health insurance line to the snow and ice removal budget.

Town Meeting did not approve:
* Eminent domain on Westboro Road: Failed by 1 vote. The article would have allowed road construction and drainage easement. According to the telegram.com, Dennis D. Flynn claimed the project would have benefited a proposed gas storage facility by Grafton-Upton Railroad.
