Blazis Safaris Visits Antarctica On Grafton Community Television
Takes us on a visit to the southern-most continent - Antarctica

GRAFTON: Grafton Community Television is heading as far south as one can go. A new edition of Blazis Safari takes us on a visit to the southern-most continent - Antarctica. The nature series, by GCTV certified producer Helen Blazis, along with her husband Mark, takes us on an hour long high definition visit to the wildlife of Antarctica - with hosts being hundreds of penguins and seals.
To get to Antarctica we travel on the MV Ushuaia. This is an ice-strengthened polar vessel with inflatable landing craft for wildlife viewing opportunities on what is an otherwise inaccessible coastline.
One finds that there are many different kinds of penguins - chinstrap penguins, gentoo penguins, adele penguins and macaroni penguins. And all different kinds of seals - weddel seals, crab eating seals, leopard seals, and elephant seals
"Blazis Safari - Antarctica" can be seen on Grafton Community Television Charter Channel 191 / Verizon Channel 34 at 12:00 Noon on Saturdays.
It is also available on Grafton Community Television's Video on Demand Services at http://grafton.cablecast.tv/Cablecast/public-site/index.html#/show/2765?channel=1
