Car Break-Ins in South Grafton Prompt Police Advisory

Grafton police are urging residents to lock their car doors.

Multiple reports of car breaks have led police to issue an advisory urging residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables from their cars.

Police Chief Normand A. Crepeau Jr. issued the following press release Monday afternoon: 

The Grafton Police Department has received reports of unlawful entry into motor vehicles in the past week. The incidents have occurred mostly in the South Grafton area during the late evening and early morning hours. In all instances, the vehicles were unlocked and cash or personal belongings that were in plain view in the vehicles were taken.

As a precaution, the Grafton Police Department strongly urges all residents to lock their vehicles, including the glove box, remove any items of value and take the keys. 

Anyone who observes suspicious activity in their neighborhood or who may have information regarding these incidents is asked to call the Grafton Police Department at 508-839-5343.  All calls will be kept confidential.
