Chilly Opening Week for Swirls & Scoops
The unofficial start of spring came to Grafton this week, with the opening of the popular ice cream stand.
Swirls & Scoops, described by some Grafton Patch readers as one of the " has been enjoying a strong, yet chilly, opening week.
The shop opened on April 1, as it does each year.
Spring hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the week, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the weekend.

The business was packed just after school let out Wednesday afternoon. For most, though, it was too chilly to enjoy their sweet, cold treat outdoors: many chose to have their ice cream in their cars.
