UPDATE: Police Investigating Cumberland Farms Armed Robbery
The robbery was reported after 5:30 p.m. Monday; police called off the K9 search later in the evening.

Police on Monday night called off a K9 search for an armed robber who held up the Cumberland Farms at 2 Main St. earlier in the evening.
The convenience store was reportedly robbed at 5:31 p.m.

"On their arrival, officers spoke to the store clerk who stated a subject entered the store and, after asking for cigarettes, displayed a handgun demanding money from the register," Police Chief Normand A. Crepeau Jr. said in a press release. "The subject then fled the store running up Main Street (Route 122A). No injuries were reported during the incident."
The suspect was described as a white male with a dark goatee wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans. He was wearing sunglasses, police said.

Grafton Police searched the area with the assistance of Sutton Police and MA State Police K9 units.
Grafton has three Cumberland Farms locations in town; the one robbed is in South Grafton.
The search ended Monday night with negative results; the incident remains under investigation. Anyone in the area who may have information is asked to contact the Grafton Police Department at 508-839-5343.
