Survey Says: Trash Bags Will Stay

Residents who responded to a town survey prefer the current style to a new version.

Concerns had been raised that the drawstring bags were flimsy and breaking easily, he said.

But town officials believe those bags were the result of a bad batch, Mizikar said. Future bags should be better quality, he said.

A town survey asking whether residents would prefer switching to a wave-top style bag received negative reviews for the change.

Out of 27 votes, 25 wanted the town to stick with the drawstring style bags.
