Fatal Crash On Mass. Pike In Grafton Kills 1
A driver has died after a crash on Tuesday afternoon on the Mass. Pike.

GRAFTON, MA—One person has died after a crash on the Mass. Pike Tuesday afternoon that involved a tractor trailer and a car, said police.
At approximately 2:22 p.m., troopers from Mass. State Police responded to reports of a crash on I-90 westbound near Exit 11 in Grafton, which resulted in the death of the operator.
Investigators found that a 2015 Ford Fusion was traveling on Route 90 Westbound when for unknown reasons it went into the breakdown lane where it struck the rear of a disabled tractor trailer that was parked in the breakdown lane.

The operator of the Ford was determined to be deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash. The operator of the tractor trailer, a 45-year-old man from Miami, FL, suffered no injury.
The right travel lane and the breakdown lane of the Mass. Pike westbound were shut down for hours while the crash was investigated.

The cause of this crash remains under investigation.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending identification and family notification.
