Fire Forces Puffins Restaurant In Millbury To Close
While the fire was contained to the kitchen, it'll force a closure until repairs are made.

MILLBURY, MA—The popular Puffins Restaurant in Millbury was forced to close due to a fire on Saturday evening.
At 5:02 p.m., Millbury fire got a call from 95 Main St., where smoke was showing from the eaves and the kitchen exhaust fan. A second alarm brought in help from Sutton firefighters and an RIT team. Workers at the restaurant called the fire department after seeing smoke coming from the exhaust fan, said Millbury fire.
The fire extended into the wall and was cut open to extinguish it, and the roof had to be cut open to let the smoke and heat out.

The fire was contained to the kitchen area but the business will be shut down until repairs.
