Teacher From Grafton Accused Of Taking $20K From Association

A former elementary teacher and union treasurer was arraigned on charges.

GRAFTON, MA—A former teacher has been arraigned on charges that she took close to $20,000 from the Grafton Teachers Association, according to reports.

Kerrie M. Clarke, 45, North Grafton,is a former elementary school teacher and union teacher who is accused of taking thousands, reports The Grafton News. She pleaded not-guilty at her arraignment and is scheduled for a pretrial conference on June 1.

Superintendent of Schools James Cummings told Grafton News that Clarke resigned from teaching at the Millbury Street Elementary School on Nov. 8, 2017.
