Nearly 2,000 People Without Power In Grafton
High winds took down power lines and trees across the state causing power outages all over.

GRAFTON, MA- High winds took their toll on the state and Grafton was hit particularly hard with 1,946 customers out of power in the city as of 1:47 p.m., according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. That is 23 percent of the customers in that area.
The number dwindled down to 639 by 8 p.m. according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency.
The whole state experienced heavy outages Monday with 56,000 reported at 8 p.m. Wind speeds ranging from 46 mph to nearly 60 mph have been reported across the state this morning. The National Weather Service says the strongest winds are expected this afternoon.
