Plans For Pub In Old Historical Society Building, Grafton
Selectmen still need to vote on whether to grant a liquor license.

GRAFTON, MA—On Monday, a special permit was granted for Sean Padgett to pursue a bar on the Grafton Common, and selectmen will soon decide whether to issue a liquor license for that bar, according to reports.
The neighborhood bar would take over the site of the former Grafton Historical Society, which is moving over to the South Grafton Library, reports the Grafton News. Padgett told Grafton News he plans to preserve the historic nature of the building, which was built in the late 1800s.
The establishment would also serve limited bar snacks, so as not to compete with nearby restaurants.
