Return to School 'Good Across the Board'
Yesterday was the first day back to school after April vacation, and the first school day since the Boston Marathon bombings.

Grafton school officials and teachers were prepared yesterday to offer support to students on their first day back after the Boston Marathon bombings, but most students didn't need to take them up on it.
"The return was a good one across the board," said Superintendent Jay Cummings in an email, referring to the first day back after April vacation.
Cummings had sent out a notice to parents over the weekend, notifying them resources would be available to help students deal with the events of last week.

"We had some students access supports, and for the most part those students were able to connect with an adult at school and then reengage at school and get back into the swing of things," Cummings said.
