Senior Citizens Invited to Luncheon at Grafton High

Seniors should reserve tickets by Tuesday, April 30, if they are interested in attending the luncheon May 2.

On Thursday, May 2, members of National Honor Society and Family Community Leaders will host a luncheon for Grafton senior citizens at the new Grafton high school. The luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes a tour of the new high school and musical entertainment by the chorus and jazz workshop. Lunch will be served. The menu includes salad with chicken, rolls, Angel cake with fruit dessert, and coffee, tea and lemonade. 

There is no fee, but the school needs a count to be prepared. Senior citizens from Grafton should contact the Senior Center or high school office to reserve your ticket by 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, if they would like to attend.  Call the high school office at 508-839-5425 or the senior center at 508-839-9242 or 508-839-5335 X147. You may pick up tickets at the Senior Center or at the high school office.

The National Honor Society is an organization to recognize and foster academic achievement, leadership, service and high standards of character through students. Family Community Leaders are students with goals to help young people become leaders, support school activities, interact with the community, and learn life skills such as planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making and interpersonal communications. The members of both groups look forward to showing the school to our senior citizens.
