Her first employment here was at the Wuskanut Mills in The Fisherville Village of South Grafton. She then worked at Kartiganer Hat Co. in Upton, Prest Wheel Corporation in South Grafton and then Burgess Leather Company in Grafton until retiring. Stella, who was known to many as "Babci", was an extremely proud mother and grandmother of polish heritage who instilled a strong sense of Catholicism and belief in God to her children. Had you ever visited her home you would never have left hungry as Stella could have "fed an army" with her famous Gwompkies and Kapusta.

She adored her family, loved her home, flowers, gardening and the ocean. Stella was also a dedicated Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots fan, particularly " her" Tom Brady. She loved her community, was a devout parishioner of St. James Catholic Church and a member of The Daughters of Isabella for over 70 years. Flowers may be sent or donations made to St. James Church Memorial Fund 89 Main St. South Grafton MA 01560 honoring her dedication to her parish.
