Willard House and Clock Museum Celebrating Women's History

What do Sarah, Mary, Julia, Elisa, Hannah, Martha, Eunice and Phebe all have in common? They were some of the women connected to the Willard family. 

On Sunday, March 3, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., in honor of Women’s History Month, the Willard House and Clock Museum will highlight selected women related to several generations of the Willard family. The short presentation and guided tour showcases women represented in the museum’s collection’s portraits, needlework and share some interesting anecdotes about the daughters and wives of the famous Willard Family.

The program is free with museum admission, although reservations are recommended. Light refreshments will be served after the tour.

Located at 11 Willard St. in North Grafton, the Willard House and Clock Museum offers a unique window into what life was like in the late 1700s in a small New England town, and is one of Grafton’s oldest houses. Museum galleries include the restored original farmhouse, which is also the birthplace of the Willard clockmakers. This unique museum contains period furniture, features and accessories, as well as more than 80 Willard clocks, the original workshop of the Willard clockmakers, family portraits, furnishings and other Willard family heirlooms.
