You can bet your bottom dollar that your entire family will fall in love with Stage 284 Youth Studio’s summer production of Annie Jr.! Join us as we go on an adventure with these fun and mischievous orphans. Annie Jr will be performed on The Community House’s mainstage for 3 shows July 26-29.
“The show Annie has had a special place in my heart since childhood. I feel that Annie was created as a personification of hope. Hope is something that we really need in our society today. It is what keeps us going and dreaming and reaching new heights,” said Honorah Tinti, Co-Director. “Historic undertones are rich in this show and the issues just below the storyline make it all the more potent. As a teacher I feel that I am able to look at the whole story, from the spark of an idea to the final product. It is not just the movement of a character from point A to point B or the right moment for them to enter or exit, it is the emotion, the motivation, the why of that movement that makes the magic.”

“One of my first roles onstage was playing Molly in a performance of Annie. Since then, my passion for the world of theater has grown and evolved along with my love for this show. The overlying message of hope amidst trials shines bright throughout the entire piece. What a great thing for this world to be reminded of through music and fun!” Ashley Valletta, Co-Director.
