Annual VIC Polo Classic Returns to Myopia Hunt & Polo Club
Field side Benefit to support the Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center (VIC) at Massachusetts General Hospital.

On Sunday, July 29, the Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center (VIC) at Massachusetts General Hospital will host the fifth annual VIC Polo Classic at Myopia Hunt and Polo Club in South Hamilton, MA. The event will be held field side at the final of the Chairman’s Cup, a highly-competitive annual tournament that hosts professional players from around the world.
Hosted at the Myopia’s iconic Gibney Field, the oldest actively played polo field in America, fans can expect an afternoon of sharp-dressing, cocktails and some of the world’s most competitive polo. Additionally, attendees will be invited to join the polo players and horses on the field at halftime for a traditional divot stomping, as well as a parade of the Myopia foxhounds with the Hunt Master.
All proceeds from the benefit will support VIC’s mission to improve public health by accelerating the development of widely useable, safe and cost-effective vaccines and immune-based therapeutics.

“I love this event and look forward to it every year. There’s nothing more thrilling than the sound of galloping hooves,” said Dr. Mark Poznansky, Director of VIC. “The work we’re doing to advance cures from research labs to patients in need is absolutely critical and this event helps make it all happen.”
The event begins at 2:00 p.m. and will feature a silent auction, and a reception under the grandstand VIP tent including hors' d'oeuvres, specialty cocktails and dessert.
