About The Economic Impact Study

The Economic Study provides us with all sorts of significant and insightful information to inform us on all the ways that Beverly Regional Airport economically impacts the area.
Performed over a 3-4 year period, the study evaluated the current funding for airport safety and preservation projects, and measured the employment, payroll and economic output that aviation brings to the Commonwealth and the host communities.
In short, the economic impact that is created directly and indirectly via Beverly Regional Airport is varied and massive. The study breaks it down in great detail by local, regional and state economies with economic impact analysis considering the annual impacts associated with on-airport, aviation-related businesses and government organizations, capital improvement projects, military aviation, the spending of visitors who arrive via scheduled commercial service airlines, and the spending of visitors who arrive on privately-owned general aviation aircraft.
Please refer to the recently published Massachusetts Economic Impact Study for the full report.
