Missing Gloucester Woman Disappeared Before Her Super Bowl Party

GLOUCESTER, MA — The search for a woman who disappeared before a Super Bowl party at her home continued Monday. The U.S. Coast Guard and local police searched the woods and coastline for 59-year-old Abbie Flynn.

The search was suspended Monday evening, police said, but it's still active. Authorities are asking for the public's help with any information.

Flynn told her son she was going for a walk in the Farrington Avenue area around 4 p.m. Sunday. She had planned a Super Bowl party at her home that evening, police said.

Flynn, who has brown hair, was wearing a red jacket. She is described as an avid hiker and walker.
