In true community spirit, The Community House, along with the Towns of Hamilton and Wenham, and the joint Recreation Department, will be hosting this time honored tradition for families and friends.

The Community Block Party will commence at 4pm with the annual Bike Parade. The parade will begin at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, onto Union Street to Patton Park. At the park, a Patriotic Tribute led by A. P. Gardner American Legion Post #194 will celebrate the birth of our nation.

Community sponsors have come together to supply loads of fun for the kids! Bouncy House and Slide (HW Recreation), Cow Pie Bingo (HW Football Boosters), Monkey Bridge (Scout Troop #35), Face Painting and Patriotic Tattoos (HW Volleyball Boosters), Dunk Tank (Dunkin Donuts of Hamilton), Bike Rodeo (Kiwanis Club of Beverly), Giant Games (The Community House), Patriotic Craft (Acord Food Pantry) and Much More will be available for all to enjoy!

Perfect Parties USA and The Community House will be offering a variety of amusement rides for purchase. There will be food for sale provided by A&B Burgers, Firebox BBQ and Taco Trucks, Cookie Monstah Ice Cream and Gilbert’s Ice Cream.

Local musicians and entertainers will lend their talent to the event. DJ HMS Entertainment will provide music and personality beginning at 5pm and Jim Coyle & Friends will be back performing this year!

The Town of Hamilton and Myopia Hunt Club will once again provide a spectacular finale with Fireworks at dusk!

The Community House’s annual raffle will be drawn and winners announced for the Grand Prize of a 1989 Lincoln Convertible, Custom Mk VII, Bill Blass Edition!, 2nd prize: $1500 Cash, 3rd prize: 1 Day of Deep Sea fishing and 4th prize: An original sculpture created by Hamilton Selectman and Artist, Shawn Farrell. Winners need not be present to win. ENTER HERE

The Community Block Party will be celebrated on Sunday, June 25 from 4pm-9pm at Patton Park, Bay Road Route 1A Hamilton. The event will commence with a Bike Parade. Parade participants please gather at HAMILTON-WENHAM LIBRARY by 3:45pm. ADMISSION IS FREE www.communityhouse.org
