Man Hit, Killed By MBTA Commuter Rail Train
The incident, which took happened near Gloucester's Railroad Ave. station, is causing major delays for the Rockport/Newburyport Line.

GLOUCESTER, MA — A man was struck and killed by an MBTA commuter rail train Thursday morning, marking the second time this week a pedestrian was killed on the line. The man, who was not identified, was hit near the Railroad Avenue station shortly before 6 a.m. The man's age was not immediately determined, Transit Police said.
Foul play was not suspected.
The Rockport/Newburyport line saw heavy delays more than an hour. Rockport trains 102 and 104 and Newburyport train 158 were canceled. Passengers were shuttled between Rockport and West Gloucester stations.
