Gas Prices Continue to Fall for the Holiday Travel Peak
If you'll be filling up in the Hamilton-Wenham area any time soon, you're in for a pleasant surprise at the pump.

There’s more relief at the pump this holiday season, with prices at the lowest they have been since spring of 2009.
Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are down two cents from last week, and also at the lowest point of the year, according to AAA Northeast. The continuing drop in crude oil prices and strong supplies are the primary drivers of these lower prices, AAA said.
AAA’s surveyed prices in Massachusetts on Dec. 14, finding self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.04 per gallon. Prices locally are four cents less than a month ago. The current price is three cents more than the national average for self-serve unleaded of $2.01. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 64 cents higher at $2.68, said AAA.
