We are excited to finally be getting the COVID-19 vaccine out and into people’s arms so that we can end this pandemic! Please see below for answers to some of the common questions we have received.

When can I get the vaccine?
Massachusetts is using a tiered approach to determining who is able to get the vaccine and when. As the different groups are allowed to be vaccinated, Hamilton will be utilizing Code Red messaging, updating our website, and posting on social media. Where can I get the vaccine?
Early on, the vaccine was only being administered through hospitals. As roll out continues, the vaccine is being administered through a number of ways including hospital affiliates, doctor’s offices, CVS and Walgreens pharmacies, planned state run mega sites and Local Boards of Health. When your group is eligible, you will be able to go online and find a site to get vaccinated: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/when-can-i-get-the-covid-19-vaccine.

I am unable to leave my home. How do I get vaccinated?
If you are homebound and need assistance to get the vaccine, we can help you. Please call the Hamilton Public Health Nurse at 978-290-9618 or the Council on Aging at 978-468-5595.
