Hamilton PD, Schools Warn Of Stranger Who Approached Teen

A man approached a teen while she was walking her dog and asked her a string of personal questions before getting in his car and leaving.

HAMILTON, MA — Hamilton police and school officials are urging parents to talk to their children about stranger danger following a suspicious incident on Tuesday.

Officials said a 15-year-old girl was walking her dog on Union Street when a stranger got out of his car and approached her. The girl described the stranger to police as a white man, possibly in his 60s driving a red pickup truck.

The man asked the teen her name, where she lived and if she went to church before he went back to his car and drove off. Police said there was no physical contact between the man and the teen but that the incident was "still of concern."
