The arrival of warm weather has more pedestrians on the streets, Hamilton police warn.
HAMILTON, MA — Hamilton police are warning drivers to be extra vigilant on the roads as the warm weather brings more pedestrians outside.
The department tweeted a photo of a crosswalk in town and said it has noticed an increase in foot traffic at the town crosswalks. Drivers were reminded to stop for pedestrians and always drive the posted speed limit.
With the sunny days we've noticed more people are getting out and walking. As a reminder when driving, you must stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk. All crosswalks are posted, so make sure you are obeying the speed limit and can stop in time. pic.twitter.com/KKIyzkXh6D
