The increase in cases means that we are all at a higher risk of contracting COVID-19. Though some of us are fully vaccinated, and some are partially vaccinated, no vaccine is 100% effective. People who are positive can spread the disease, whether they are vaccinated or not.
Children remain ineligible for the vaccine at this time. They are entirely dependent on us as responsible adult community members to practice and reinforce the behaviors we all know can help stop the spread of COVID, and thus reduce the risk of contracting the disease.

It is crucial that you continue to adhere to the recommended precautions:
- Wear a mask
- If you must travel, follow the state’s travel quarantine guidelines
- Refrain from large social gatherings
- Maintain 6 feet of distance between those that do not live in your household
- Wash your hands frequently
We are nearing the end point, but we’re not there yet. Let’s refocus our resolve and get this done.
