Hamilton Reminds Residents To Skate At Own Risk
Despite the recent cold snap, skating on Weaver Pond is still risky.
HAMILTON, MA – The town issued a reminder on Christmas that Weaver Pond at Patton Park is, and always has been, "skate at your own risk."
Hamilton-Wenham Recreation Director Sean Timmons said on the town blog that the town doesn't inspect the ice to determine when it's safe to skate.
There are signs posted around Weaver Pond that say skating may be risky.
