Hamilton Soliciting Applications For MBTA Liaison Volunteer
The town is looking for a volunteer to represent Hamilton with the MBTA.

HAMILTON, MA – The Town of Hamilton is seeking a volunteer to serve as the town's MBTA liaison. The town blog reports that the liaison would serve as a representative of Hamilton at MBTA control board meetings, among other duties.
"It’s an important position because it keeps an ear to the ground, so to speak, having someone attend the meetings and be able to keep track of what is going on and how it may affect the town," Town Manager Michael Lombardo told the town blog.
The blog noted that the position is particularly relevant now due to the proposal to install two 70-foot monopoles by the railroad tracks in Hamilton to provide wifi service for train passengers.
