Hamilton-Wenham Boys' Cross-Country Team Wins Division Title

The boys are next headed to the state finals.

The Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School boys cross-country team topped the field Saturday in Wrentham to claim the MIAA division 5 title.

Next up, according to the Hamilton-Wenham Athletic Department, the boys were able to defend their title with a close win over Newburyport.

Hamilton-Wenham put up an average time of 16:59 to Newburyport’s 17:11.

According to times posted on MileSplit, Daniel Allara posted HWRHS’ best time at 16.31.21. Hamilton-Wenham had four runners place in the top 10: Allara, Griffin Marshall (16.42.91), Jack Gourdeau (17.00.27) and Charles Cring (17:03:24).

The All-States meet is scheduled for Nov. 21 in Westfield.
