Hamilton-Wenham Girls' Soccer Team Heads to Quarterfinal Play

The boys' team will also take part in a quarterfinal match on Sunday after earning a first-round bye in the tournament.

The Generals girls’ soccer team cruised to a 4-0 victory over Watertown on Thursday in the first round of the MIAA North Division 3 tournament.

Next up is a face-off with Lynnfield (8) in the quarterfinal round on Sunday at 11a.m. The match will be played at Hamilton-Wenham.

The Generals girls earned a No. 1 seed in the tournament and will enjoy home field advantage throughout the divisional series should they continue to win.

Lynnfield won its first-round match against Newburyport by a score of 2-1.

The Hamilton-Wenham boys’ soccer team is also taking part in a quarterfinal match on Sunday. The boys’ team earned a first-round bye and will open tournament play Sunday at 2 p.m. in a home match against Bishop Fenwick.
