Hamilton-Wenham School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Hamilton-Wenham is August 30. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/1 - 9/4: No School (Labor Day)

October

• 10/6: No School for Students (Teachers Workshop)
• 10/9: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/24: No School for Students (Parent Teacher Conferences)
• 10/31: No School for Students (Parent Teacher Conferences)

November

• 11/10: No School (Veterans' Day)
• 11/22: Early Release
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Winter Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Holiday Recess)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)

February

• 2/19 - 2/23: No School (Mid Winter Recess)

March

• 3/29: No School for Students (Staff Development)
• 3/30: No School (Good Friday)

April

• 4/16 - 4/20: No School (Spring Vacation)

May

• 5/28: No School ( Memorial Day)

June

• 6/2: Graduation (10:00 a.m.)
• 6/21: Last Day for Teachers and Students (includes 5 snow days)
